Any recent news?

Also, was planning doing a first-time ever float trip below the hatchery this weekend, any recomendations on how to rig? Will these late silvers hit plugs? Roe under bobbers? Any color spinner work best?

Thanks for your expert opinions.

GaryK,
The river is up to 5380 from 3000 cfs and should turn them silvers on the bite. Typically with that water height they bite eggs, wigglewarts, spinners you know the typical stuff. I'd recommend sticking to the hatchery/meathole area as most of the silvers are stacked there...
Good luck,
Keith laugh

Thanks Stlhdr1.

Kind of sounds like we should leave the driftboat home then?

Just thought with the boat we might have some more elbow-room to fish.

Won't those 2 holes you recomend be packed with bank fisherman, if the silvers are stacked up in that area?

Only the hatchery hole is stacked with people, I'd stay away from that if you're using a boat. As for the meathole, that's the boat hole and I'd recommend it if you plan fishing that hole!
