Just wondering how the fishing is this weekend. Should be lots of good reports with the dropping rivers. Won't be able to go out until after Christmas myself. I did pretty good last weekend. How about some reports guys.

Whatever you do don't come to the Olympic Peninsula....the Puget Sound rivers would be your best bet cause I think every fisherman from the trough is in Forks now!

i fished friday during the day and hooked my FIRST two metalheads one being a nice crome bright 10-12lb hatchery fish that broke me off as it was coming to the bank mad . the other threw the hook. i went back down to the hole that night and hooked a chrome 7lb hatchery hen and landed it laugh . MY FIRST EVER laugh . I'll be back out tomorrow hopefully. This was near the sky.

Fished the peninsula this morning, went 11 for 14 and my partner went 9 for 11. All fish were 6-10 pounds and most were chrome bright!

Jigman,

You guys hooked 25 fish in one day? All I can say is WOW. Congrats. Did you get 'em all on Rainbow Jigs?

I fished the Bogie on thursday and I went 1 for 2. The river was an ugly green when we started and looked better when we got off the river.
I also fished a small river yesterday and got a pretty 6lbs hatchery hen. It was fun cuz I only fished for 90 miinues or so. Kinda a long drive from poulsbo. laugh

Hit most of the fish on Rainbow jigs, after the jig bite went away we stole some eggs out of a hatchery hen we kept and caught a few more. The river was full of fish!

I fished the upper Snoqualmie this morning. More
boats than fish on the river today. Can't believe
I'd be saying this, but we could use a little more
water.

Cigar wink wink

2 for 5 for me so far this weekend on the brats. Having some trouble keeping the hook seated on some of those jumpers. Sometimes the fish wins... Also released two bright hooknoses. Has anyone else hit any of these late silvers on the puget sound rivers?

Its late December, sunny, lots of fish to go around...does life get any better????
