The regs for the Lower Columbia Spring Salmon season is now posted on the WDFW home page. A selective fishery begins 12 Mar from the mouth to Bonneville dam, Adipose fin clipped Chinook only may be kept, all others released unharmed. All fish may be retained up to 12 Mar.

I was just wondering if they raised the bag limits on say,Drano,Or the wind rivers.

Nativepride - I atteded the public meeting last Thursday at WDFW on spring Chinooks. They are not proposing to raise the bag limits on either the Wind or Little White at this time. They will be monitoring the run size to see if it's warranted. If the projected run size is accurate, they will probably raise the limit but didn't say by how much. They should know by early May whether the run is going to be as large as predicted. However, numerous anglers at the meeting strongly disagreed with raising the limits at all since that will only draw further attention to an already overcrowded combat fishery. They have a good point....
