Curt, one of the best places is near Tanner Creek just below Bonneville Dam on the Oregon side. To get there drive up OR Hwy. I-84 and take the Bonneville Fish Hatchery exit number 40. Go thru the hatchery past the parking lot and cross a small bridge over the creek. Park on that other side and follow the trails down to the bank. Lots of fish and fishermen, with both a good chance at catching a fish and catching a funny show of boaters clashing and fish on being tugged away from guys that continue to fish right near them. And bankies yelling at and casting at boaters coming too close to shore fishers. Actually should be fun. It closes for springers after this Sunday.

Another good place is below the dam on the washington side or cross over the dam and drive down to the tip of bradford island.Spinglows and lots of weights 6-8 oz. would be big enough.Guys are useing clown or
the dark green spinglows alot. I think any color would work as long as its the clown or dark green smile.I hope you meant what you said about not minding a crowd cus you'll have lots of company.Bring lots of weights cus you will more then likely loss them in the rocks there.seriously,I think any color will work if your lucky enough to get in front of there face.Good Luck.
