Fished off Meadow point Sunday Am. Caught and released one Chinook about 6-10 pounds. And Shakers.

Check the Sockeye in the Salt post.

Been out twice and didn't see much action. Saw one fella bring a reasonable sized coho to the boat at Jeff Head last week but other than that, nuthin'.

I fished Kingston yesterday and did very well. The chew started about 8:00AM and was still going on when I had to leave at 11:00. I caught all my fish mooching a cut plug herring. The totals for the morning were 7 chinook-3 were mature(one over 20#) and 2 coho.

I've got 4 fish in 5 outings, all nice fish, 9-11 pounds. My fishin' buddy got an 8 and a 15 on the 4th of July. Been fishin' at Pt. Defiance and Southworth.

Been using whole herring behind a flasher as well as solo herring, and hoochies with flasher in the 90-120 foot range.

Should be gettin' hot for Kings any day now!

Hey all,
Yeah it's heating up for kings.
Fished 3 times since my last post. 3 kings over #20. Several nice hatchery marked kings in the 10-14 lb range. lots of small coho in the 2-4 lb range.
When are they going to open a season for the hatchery kings? It almost drives me crazy to let go the great BBQ hatchery fish.

Ran out around Kingston for the evening bite yesterday and didn't get anything on the herring or coyotes aside from a dog, lots of weed, a couple possible shakers and one knock-down pull that I immediately farmed off in the deep. Did put some nice crabs in the pots though.

The new hours at the Edmunds sling suck.
