OK friends, A newbie needs some help on scents here. Here in the Boise valley we are very limited to Steelhead and Salmon tackle. After running around the valley I did find a source for Vision and Gamakatsu hooks. Found one place that sells Mike's (salmon egg,shrimp,herring) scents. Found another that sells a VERY limited selection of Smelly Jelly. Is this what you guys/gals use? Can you make your own? Is there a certian scent for a certian time of year that you have found works better? I feel like I'm running around blind here.
