Today I walked into the Calawah Rearing Pond section to fish. I parked in the Bogey hatchery parking lot and went up the hill.
My question is, just before you get to the ponds, the road forks. I always go straight and get to the river that way. Where does the right fork go?
And is it worth following?
Thanks
Diana

The right fork takes you to the second rearing pond ... the one you have been going to is referred to as South Ponds, the right fork goes to North Ponds.

Ah-so. And do fish live there? ( Not fry, if you know what I mean )
Thanks

The hatchery fish will stray up the Clawah quite a ways. They arnt as condensed up above but sometimes better biters. Its not as crowded above the North Pond but there arnt as many fish either. Some times it pays off to go above and sometimes it dose'nt.
