Pics courtesy of Hawk from his weekend of steelheading.

The Hawkster himself!! If he looks familiar, it may because he was up on the Cascade this fall schooling all us Left Coasters on those coho with his MidWest techniques...

Thanks for posting them Sparkey. I got a brain fart and forgot everything you told me to do.

Warning to all flamers. No, they are not wild fish. They are all brats. Take a look at all their fins, and you'll see that many of them are missing substantial parts of their "Motor". Lots of anal fin clips, and maxillary clips. Only a couple with pec clips. Didn't want to start a riot by being a Midwest version of Plunker. rolleyes

The hot bait was spawn bags tied with baby pink mesh, followed by orange mesh, with chartreuse mesh far behind in last place. Also did fairly well on fresh skein right out of the fish, and fished in pieces the size of a quarter. All in total, about 35 fish landed with the biggest being about 12 pounds. Plenty of action for an old fart like me. laugh laugh eek
