Was diggin' around in a box and found this plug
wrapped in paper. No markings on it, 5.5" inches,
aromatic plastic smell...just curious if any old timers
know the identity of the plug?

I would need to see the front to make a final determination, but I am guessing by the looks...
maybe a mid 50's Zimmie... Zimmie was one of the first companies to come out with a plastic plug in the mid 40's. Can you post additional pictures? If it is a Zimmie, w/o the box, you're looking at about a 20 spot in value.
Another possibility is... late 60's Alaskan. Value is $10-$15

Hope this helps!

Here is the lip of the above plug...plus a couple of other plugs
I dug out. The Lucky Louies are wood and the Alaskan appears
to be stainless.
