A tip for those that are wondering what to do with the Access Stewardship parking permit this year. Since they have made it transferable between two cars, I took it over to Kinkos and ran it through their laminating machine, with the backing still on. Once laminated, I stopped by the hole punch and put a hole through the end and put one of their little bag tag lanyards through it. Now I can hang it from my rear view mirror when I use it, or switch cars with it, etc. If I'm reading the permit regs right this shouldn't be a problem and it will remain in good shape all year.

I put my main vehicle # on it prior to laminating. I can add the second one any time (and probably remove it to! ) later on but I never take my wife's car, so I didn't have a second one to put down right away. Should work out better in the long run.

I bought a plastic envelope on a lanyard a couple of years ago that holds my lisence and punch card.I wear it around my neck while fishing and hang it off the rearview mirror in the fishing buggy when I am done for the day.I think it works great.

So now I have a permit to use forest service trail heads and a permitt to use state land hanging off my rearview,whats next?
