Anyone going out for the general Puget Sound season tomorrow? Just wondering. I will taking some of Steel Addicted's good advice and be floating around near Possession Point or possibly off Edmonds.

Good luck! Remember to keep the bait fresh in your pots! As a general rule, I like to soak my pots about 2 hrs max... Send me email if you want any other info!

Pots are loaded and the boat's got gas. I haven't done this much before but I'm going to try home made bait in one of the pots and see how it does. I've learned a few things from the commercial guys over the years and need to try them out. I think I'm also going to bring the diving gear and see if I can pick up a few lost cannon balls while I'm waiting for my 80 jumpo size prawns to join me for dinner.

Spent the last two days inspecting the gear and getting the boat ready. Last year opening morning was a bad time to find out my bird dog had been chewin on the shrinp ropes as I watched my pot dissapear into the deep blue yonder. My muscles are aching for sympathy for what they are gonna feel tomorrow.

BTW I only like to leave them down an hour a set. Find the cat food washes out to fast to leave them down much longer. Keep an eye on your stuff too people steal it.

Anyone need a strong arm/back? I've never done it, but would love to go out with someone and learn the ropes before I spend my $ on gear.

Sent you an email Jason. Thanks for the offer. If for some reason, I don't pick up my cell phone if you call, leave a message and I will be there in the morning!
