Hey Guys and Gals,

This is supposed to be a fun rod question, not meaning a thing other than satisfying my curiosity. Keep in mind this is only your preference, so brands and etc. don’t matter either. All I am looking for is basic number/stats. Here is the question… If you had to choose two rods for drift fishing, and one of the rods had to be a combo for drift/bobber fishing, what rods would you choose? Remember this is no comparison between brands or what you think is better, it’s just based upon rod details. Please keep criticisms off this post, as the last thing we need is another rod or brand comparison post. rolleyes

Since I posted I guess I’ll start. I don’t have experience with either of these rods, but looking from stats, I’d probably have to say a 1025 and a 1143.

Matt

I have one 1025 and 4-1143's and they are my rod of choice for sure. the 1143 is a nice rod, very sensitive, But a huge steelie will put you to the test as it might be a tad on the light side, But I still use it for everything. Goodluck, Matt
