Has anyone been fishing area 11 lately ? Any Reports ? I fished it real hard over laborday weekend and only caught 1 small silver. And I only saw 2 other fish caught and they were pretty small too. They must have been silvers to they were not 22" and were not released. I did see a nice king (over 20 lb ) lost on monday after about a 15 minute fight. They didnt bring up there downrigger cables. Sure way to loose a fish. They seem to be attracted to those cables when they get close to the boat.

Fished on labor day and again this last Friday at the mouth of the Puyallup.

Labor Day caught 2 one little silver and a really nice king that we lost at the boat.

Last Friday... nothing....

Have to wait for the silver run. Hope there is one.

I guess its time for river fishing.

Hold on guys they're comin. I been getting fish consistently over the last week up here in area 10 right off Jeff Head. Seems like others I've talked to have done well also with fish up to 12lbs. Surely they can't be far off. The only thing better than the fishin up here has been the crabbing. Amazingly, even the blackmouth have been quite active too even at only 45ft down. Must be a good bait thing going on up here. Come to think of it, all the silvers I caught revealed recent feeding activity and only one hen had loose eggs. Other hens had tight or undeveloped roe. Early run? Hoping so. Best of luck.
