A very close and long time friend of mine Guy Alexander has a family member missing in the Hood Canal area. The man missing is Dan Horton From Port Angeles. He is married with five childern.

Dan was crabbing yesterday 11-17-2002 on Hood Canal with with a friend when their boat capsized while pulling a crab pot. Dan's Friend was rescued by the Coast Guard shortly after capsizing but Dan has not yet been found. The coast guard called off their search today.

Guy Alexander and other family members have been combing the beaches and plan to continue their search tomorrow. My heart goes out to Dan's family.

If you plan on being in the Hood Canal area tomorrow, please be aware that Dan is still missing.

Always sad news to hear a fellow sportsman suffering from ill fate ... while I'm afraid it's probably too late, we'll keep our fingers crossed.

Yeah, I am sorry to hear that also. That is by my parents house, they said there was a helicoter flying around.... Horrible news.
