can anybody tell me if it is legal now to fish the sky after dark like all night.the area in question is from sultan down the the snohomish,a guy i work with has been fishing this area for a long time and says no but i checked the regs and from what i read it says ALL SPECIES-night closure and non-bouyant lure restriction Aug. 1-Nov 30. so i say yes it is legal right?also if it is legal can you use a coleman lantern on the bank not for the purpose of attracting fish but just to be able to see, them rocks are getting really icy and would help in preventing a spill and a possible late night swim.it sure would be nice to be able to go out after work but when you work until 3:30pm it gets dark fast, later Bruce

I believe the night closure is to prevent snagging. Also, most access areas are posted night closure.
Other than that I'm not sure.

I talked to the game control officer last year about night fishing at mouth of Tokul Creek. He said that it was illegal to park in the lot, and to walk through the lot. But it was fine to fish for steelies, as long as you didn't use the access point.

You put a light on the water and it will attract the fish. I think this came up some place else but being that I'm old I forgot where.
