Thanks to Bob (The really big one!) for both letting me post this, and for giving me the idea and coding to do this for our own uses in Oregon.
It only takes a moment to help keep the Trask Hatchery open.
The best thing to do is write your own letter, but if you don't have time, it would be very helpful to us, if you take a moment and sign This form letter.
Thanks for your time and support!
Jen

How about this. The first 2 guys to reply to your thread here Jen is your former mods. wink

Thanks for putting up this thread. We need all the help we can get to save what we can for our fisheries. You have also put up a list of OR and WA state and federal reps for us sportfishers to write to. Can you post that over here, or mail it to Bob so he can put up a link to the list. It is a good thing to have so people know who best to write to about our fishing and habitat concerns. Thanks. ...

And on a personal note, Gizmo posted in an explaination thread of mine the following:

"A few years back, maybe 10 or so, a Japaneese soldier who was part of a small group left to defend one island in the south Pacific during WW II was found. He was still wearing what was left of his uniform, and had his old gun. He was ready to die as his comraids had to protect that isolated island.

No one told him that the war was over and he would not believe his preceived captures dispite their best efforts to convince him that the war was over many years ago. He was taken back to Japan and reunited with his family. I assume he now lives happily ever after.

Need I say more?"

I have a hunch that he was referring to our occasional ninny nannying in posts and e-mails about each other in a negative light. His point may be well taken if we realize there is no reason for a feud anymore. To that end - peace. smile

Edit: Oh no Giz, more incoming! eek Where's that 'isolated island' you mentioned. smile

Oh, by the way,
You don't need to fill out all the information. You don't really need to fill out your e mail.
--Just your name and address, name and town? Thanks,
Jen

The least I could is return the favor as many of you Oregon folks sent letters of support to the WDFW Commision in regards to statewide WSR.
