So everyone I talk to says the saame thing, they always pick up and pack out their own trash and usually pack other peoples trash also. So then who exactly is it that is leaving the trash behind???

one of te people who USED to leave trash was a friend of mine.
Couple of years ago we went on an alpine lake mission just scalin fish left and right.
I caught him throwin a can out the window and gave him the ultimatum to
1 pick it up and any other trash he see for the next couple of miles (he had to walk it by the way)
2 walk home
he picked #1 and didn't talk to me for a couple o months but when he did he admitted he was wrong and since this day I see him being a model citizen
so I encourage you to pressure your pals (not in the same manner I did)not to liter!!!!!!!!
I admit it seems harsh but trash pisses me off

People who leave trash on the river should lose there right to use the river....
Something that I have never seen posted here is the trash that people who live on the river toss into and leave on the banks.At Riter on the south Bank the home owners limb ther trees for the view,and leave the limbs for the fisherman to crawl over,three times I have seen yard waste being dumped into the Kalama.I could go on but I won't.

10% of the fishermen catch 90% of the fish, and the other 90% just come down to the river to leave trash
