Well for those of you who would like to join us the next planned flotilla will be in Sekiu the weekend of the 14th and 15th of September. We will be staying at the Coho Motel and RV park. There is a thread that has been going on on Marty's board (www.steelheader.net), here is the link http://www.steelheader.net/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=001783 For those of you that have not been to one of these or wonder what it is, it is a gathering of folks from the boards to get to fish, party and just get to put some faces to monikers and make some new friends. This one should just be a hooknose slayfest as all of you know September is prime time for silvers there. If you have any question feel free to e mail me or post on this thread or on the one I linked to.
Looking forward to seeing friends I have made and to meeting some new ones also!!! Sounds like we already have quite a few interested in coming up so we'll see you there. I will be there with 2 of my Son's from Wednesday the 11th on.
Good luck and tight lines, Jeff laugh laugh

I think I need to reclarify the Snoopy pole issue.

I went to Wallyworld to buy my Snoopy pole, but all I could find was Scooby Doo, Tweety, Taz and a deluxe Mickey Pole. There was a stainless steel ice fishing rod thath looked pretty sturdy, but it had no cartoon character on it. I went for the ScoobyDoo rod upon the urging of my son. It just looked cooler than the rest. Set me back less than $10.

To be eligible you must catch your fish on a cartoon character rod, any cartoon character. Period. You can re-spool with any pound test you want, and if you catch your fish using the casting plug that the rod comes, I'll figure out something for extra credit. I have an old smelly tackle box or two around.

The prize, if you can call it that, will be a complete set of Banjo Minnows!

Chasing the fish with the boat is fine, and suggested, and you can fish any method you want including rigging it off of your downrigger. Be prepared for a challenge and a half should you hook one, even the small fish are rippers.

Looking forward to meeting some of you.

Andy

I'll be there with B. Gray and Reiter Rat, sounds like a fun deal. The fishing should be better by then as well, another shot of rain or two, man, those Snoopy rods will be screamin'!

Hey folks,

One more time to the top.

All are welcome. We may be communicating on VHF Channel 68 and FRS channels 8 and 11.

There is a 110 piece Banjo minnow set on the line! Bring your Snoopy pole.

No wonder I had trouble finding a room! There will be a small group from the waflyfishers board there also - trying to do it the hard way. I'll drop by and say howdy. Bart
