I dont mind paying a little extra, but in this state i don't feel like it is going to the right place. A quarterly audit of the funds or something like that would be alright though.

I wouldn't mind either if it all didn't go into the general fund. So I consider it a general tax increase on sportsmen.

Ya know this is pretty typical of WDFW STAFF!! They tell you what they are going to do shortly before they do it then they don't give you any details about it. I'd be for a license price hike if:
1. the money stayed in the department.
2. the money was used directly to improve sport fishing opportunity
3. was NOT NOT NOT used on hatcheries, they already take up most of the WDFW budget.

places i'd like to see it spent.

ENFORCMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!
wild salmon/steelhead restoration

Instead it will all go to repaving a 2 mile section on the 405 in seattly or other such nonsence

Of course, a license fee increase may or MAY NOT produce more income.

Most fishermen only fish a couple times a year. Some of them will decide to pass on an even more expensive license.

I agree with most, I believe the $ money will not stay in the Game dept or it will be mis used like everything else in the state.

On othe other hand the price we pay now and even if it is another $10 or $20 it is well worth the $ for what you get. What else can you do for that price for a year. Plus you can take the young ones for free.

Positive, maybe the new high price will deter some people to buy so the water won't be so crowded. Maybe this will lessen the poacher population (most likely not). My 02.
