Is this somehow diffrent ords than Fox donating $1,000,000 to the Republicans? Anyone with any brains at all knows neither Fox nor MSNBC are nonpartisan. So what?
From the Yahoo artilce on the suspension.
Olbermann, as well as MSNBC executives, was a vocal critic of the $1 million donation by Fox News' parent News Corp. to the Republican Governor's Association earlier this year, saying at the time, "We now have another million reasons Fox News is the Republican news channel."
A News Corp. spokesman defended the donation when it was first reported in August.
"News Corporation believes in the power of free markets, and the RGA's pro-business agenda supports our priorities at this most critical time for our economy," the spokesman said.

If Olbermann owned MSNBC and made programming decisions, I'd say there was absolutely not difference, Dave.
However, the more proper analogy, IMHO, is that of Juan Williams being fired from NPR for breaking ethics rules. Both are free speech arguments.
What I'm waiting for now is O'Reilly, Palin, and the rest to come to Olbermann's defense in the same way they did Williams'.
No, I won't hold my breath, but will add it to the long, long list of glaring hypocrisy.

The difference is they said he cant do it, and he did it anyway. It's pretty simple Dave.
He got caught and now he gets punished. The guys a massive toolbag anyway. I bet he's in his bathtub as we speak.
