You guys are lucky. In my parking spot at the Oly office, it is not uncommon to find a sleeping bum, a pile of bum sh!t, or broken malt-liquor bottles in my parking spot.

When the economy tanked we couldn't even afford interns and had to spin a golf tee to see who got the bum duty, but we have an intern now so it doesn't bother me as much.

That looks like one of the bucks in my neighborhood. He walks through the yard and driveway, but hasn't taken my parking spot yet. Probably doesn't care for concrete. Last time I saw him he jumped out in front of me on the road, but with enough distance to slow down and not hit him. Another deer got hit and killed near there a year ago.

Every now and again I contemplate turning one of them into venison in the coming fall, but then remember that I really don't care for salal flavored venison. Guess I should leave corn and barley at the bottom of the hill to improve their flavor . . .
