 up to the NBA commish but he better not forget they are millionaires, playing against billionaires and that clown isnt going down without a fight. Hope people boycott them til he is gone. He's old. Doesn't have much time left. He should just go and see how much of his money he can spend elsewhere before he dies. Maybe kick things off with a sex junket to Thailand and dabble with some autoerotic asphyxiation. That might speed things up a bit.

Needed to go for sho however there are plenty of black racist that get a free pass. I also like how Vagic Johnson has been angling to buy the clippers for years and was the first to comment. He was pictured with the whistle blower . Now he claims to not be interested in buying he team . Ya right he's not a homo either .

When I first heard about this on the radio I thought, "who cares?" It was a private conversation, covered by the First Amendment, and leaked to TMZ (WTF is TMZ?). Sterling can say whatever he wants, and it's legal to be a racist. It's only illegal to do certain racist actions, like employment, housing, education, etc.
I think the reason it becomes an NBA and public issue is because the NBA is a private rich men's club that enjoys a professional sports monopoly with Congress' consent. That's what makes it a public issue. The NBA can have whatever rules it wants (consistent with the Congressional approval of its monopoly) and enforce those rules. Considering the importance of its public image, along with the fact that the billionaires in this exclusive rich men's club make millions of dollars off their teams that consist of at least 70% black players, imposing strong sanctions on blantant racism is just good business sense.

Great basketball player but if you were a sonic fan when he played no one cried more to the refs than he did . Next worst was watching jab bar get away with a foul every time the threw the sky hook. The incidence of HIV in non IV drug using straight males is so low that one has to wonder and specifically because he was a laker.
