I hope he challenges the ruling in court, gets an injunction to allow him to play during his appeal, and the suspension is upheld and he gets to serve it weeks 15 thru 18 ;-)

If I were to sue my employer its consider voluntary termination. If I were to win the suit then I'd get my job back with back pay. If I lost the suit than I'd still be terminated. Not sure why the NFL would be any different.
But what I really don't understand is why don't professional athletes put me on million dollar retainer to write apologies? I could have put this all in the past two weeks before the SB. "At some time in the past I may have inferred that I like my footballs on the soft side. It was never my intention that those footballs be deflated below the legal limit. I'd like to apologize to the NFL, Kraft, Patriot fans and most of all to the equipment staff over this misunderstanding and want to ensure that all future footballs meet league standards."
It really isn't that difficult.

Who really cares. There will always be drama on/off the field. Best place to serve justice is on the field. Integrity of the game is paramount. The Pats fumbled less than any other cold city team.....gee I wonder why? Because they're cheating MFR'S. The NFL should have come down harder on them.

Just like aforementioned politicians, serial killers, and young children, a narcissist like Tommy Terrific will fight it til the bitter end, continuing to be utterly mystified as to why everyone doesn't just believe him out of hand, and serve his four games in the end. I sincerely hope he gets an injunction staying the suspension pending resolution of the case...which has been consolidated with the NFL's and will be in Manhattan, not in Minneapolis...and that the case resolves right there at week 15, just in time to miss the last three games of the season, and if somehow Garappolo gets them in to the playoffs, into the first playoff game, too. That's the kind of schit a narcissistic douchebag like Tommy Terrific will do to his beloved team and fans...fukk'em all in the end. Lovin' it. Also loved the Jets fans that paid to fly a "Look up, Cheaters!" banner behind a plane over the practice field at Foxboro today for the opening of Patriot training camp  Granted, the Jets have to look up at the Patriots if they ever want to see first place, so both teams are looking up, but I appreciate the gesture.
