I most definitely believe that the Hawks win this one on Sunday ... and that the Panthers also win.

Bottom line is that this game is being played AT HOME in front of the 12's ... for all the marbles ... Oh, and by the way, Bruce Arians has already thrown gas on the fire with his comments this week. This Hawks team is going to be motivated -- fired up to win -- and they should win. The Hawks are a better team than the Cardinals are at this stage of the season. No way Drew Stanton beats them at home.

And the Panthers have been a very hot team of late. They've won their last 3 games (which includes the Vikings) and they're beaten Atlanta once already. They are the better overall team and they have been playing better than the Falcons. I see the carrot of the NFC South Division being a pretty big one for these guys. I loathe rooting for Cam Newton (Ugh, I feel like I need to go take a bath) ... but I honestly feel they're going to go in there and beat those guys.

Now, will the Hawks advance beyond the 1st Round of the Playoffs? Highly, highly debatable. BUT, this is honestly the way I see things shaking out as far as this weekend is concerned.

If I didn’t think you copy/pasted that entire thing I’d give you a bunch of [Bleeeeep!] about being wrong all the time, how 2018 won’t be any different for you, you’ll still be a sad sad little man with a camper you named Prevost etc.

But you copy pasted that so I’ll skip all the [Bleeeeep!] and just say Happy New you stupid motherfucker

Let go of Jimmy, Kam & Dick in the off season and go buy a kicker and o-line. Oline - oline - oline. Same as it ever was...

It's not in his style, but Petey could probably be less of a "friend" head coach and more of a hardass on occasion. Really getting tired of the whole "he's just being who he is and we encourage individuality in the locker room" ra-ra-ra BS. Yes, that's cool Petey - but what if your player is an degenerate arsehole? The lax nature shows up before games, during games, in the stands and in penalty yards. Belichick doesn't have this problem and I wonder why?

In reality, the Hawks could probably use a really good shake up and complete reset of expectations. That may mean getting rid of a lot of the coaches and players that brought Seattle the title. That was 5 years and many injuries ago. They are a step slower. Ancient times in terms of the NFL.

Petey won't do it until he either retires or is shown the door. He's an old, sappy broken record of BS coach speak word salad and also....hey surfs up dudes!

IMO. Let's the hisses and boos begin, but I'm not wrong.

With all the folks jumping on the "fire so and so" for whatever reason, how many here have actually competed at the National/International level? How many have coached/managed teams or individuals who were competing at that level?

It is a different world as open advances in competitive level. Way different from Jefferson Davis Elementary.

Sorta true. But it doesn't take an expert coach to know that the o-line has been broken for years and the same ones trying to fix it haven't. My eyes and ears don't lie. I hear what is said and see players being punks before, during and after games. Too much focus on off the field concerns and not enough with being hungry. The Hawks of today are a far cry from the 2 SB teams and it shows.

Would it kill Petey or Russ to actually be a real human being for once and actually speak like it? Call out BS in harsh terms and let folks know that it stops right now? Wilson is a GD buffoon every time he steps up to the mic. Word salad broken record blah blah blah. GET PISSED OFF FOR ONCE!

With the spending limits just where do they get an O-line? Seahawks won with "cheap" players who were paid a lot less than they were worth. Low draft picks, free agents, etc. Then, to keep the LOB or Russ they had to invest. The downside is that in an era of free agency you can't have it all, at least not for very long. The difficult choices now are cutting/releasing good, but expensive, folks and replacing them with equal skill for less cost.

That what I'm saying and said repeatedly during the Hawks second SB season. You almost have to win SB's back-to-back or injuries and free agency will eat you up over the next 2 -5 seasons. No name SB winners become name brands overnight and want the pay scale to match. You can't afford it all under the cap. So....get rid of Jimmy, Kam and Dick. Let go of the guys that aren't producing or are injury riddled; free up some money and go buy an o-line. Why are the Hawks paying Jimmy that much money for 57 catches and 510 yards? Is the investment paying off?

Wilson is getting older and is going to get really hurt one of these days because he can only scramble for his life. He's your entire franchise. He goes down, the whole team goes with him. Go get some stud big uglies that will give him the time to find open receivers and open bigger holes for the backs. Save Wilson at all costs, even if that means letting some of the fan favorites go. IMO.

Xmas wish list....get rid of: Cam, Sherman, Walsh, Lane. Find: O-line, stud RB and kicker. A few more curvy cheerleaders wouldn't hurt either...just sayin'.

Russel sucks too, get rid of him. Even if he had an o-line and open receivers he'd miss the throw. Scrambling is his only skill and luck only goes so far.

This. Also, get a better #2 behind Baldwin...but that's lower on the needs list.

That's just being rash and pissed. He's good and letting him go would put the Hawks back 3 - 5 years. He's not the greatest ever, but he's good. He just needs time in the pocket. We are talking an extra 2/10th's of a second here. His legs won't last forever. Even Jordan perfected his unstoppable fade away jumper later in his career when he couldn't go to the basket as hard. Wilson's days scrambling are coming to an end, so he needs an o-line to give him that time.

Get rid of Bevell and Cable. Josh mcdaniels for OC and Ken Norton for DC. Walter Jones for line Coach.

1. Bennett
2. Graham
3. Lane
4. Sherman (nothing less than a high 1st rounder and a second rounder.
5. Ifedi....the worst lineman I have ever seen.
6. Kam...sort of on the fence with him. I can see him being injury prone.
7. Blair Walsh. Worthless POS. He solely cost us 3-4 wins.
8. Maybe Earl Thomas after that chit he said to the Cowboy's Coach "come and get me" and him acting like a beetch to Bobby Wagner over some tweets.

Just think of the cap room that would free up, not to mention the comp picks in 2019. thumbs Now is the time to do it, RW will be in his prime when the pieces of the puzzle comes together.
It would be great to get that stud RB from Penn state (Saquon Barkley) I think he will go in the first 5 picks next year. Sherman would look great in a Browns uniform. applause

It's going to be an exciting off season. Russell needs to step his game up too.Did you see that catch that Luke Willson dropped...lol PATHETIC. beathead

This guy will be a cowbell for 7-10 years, I hope we can pull it off.

This team needs a coach like Mike Tomlin, he will get these knuckle heads in line. These penalties are absolutely killing us. Pete will give a player a pat on the ass after they commit a penalty that gives the opponent a new set of downs. When Holmgren was here you wouldn't want to be anywhere near him on the sidelines after some stupid penalty. I HATE player coaches. That chit for brains Bennett is good for at least 1-2 off sides penalties a game. He can go kneel on another team during the anthem.

Somebody will over pay for the rights to Sherman. He got exposed when Earl and Kam were out last year. We're sitting pretty good at CB's.

I agree with most of the comments here except getting rid of Jimmy G. He had a lot of tds this year and they were forcing it hard in the red zone, that connection is growing and I think its worth preserving. If they had a run game with that it would be great, but easier said than done because thats been the plan for years.

Seems like Jimmy only wants to make an effort in the red zone. If were paying this guy 10 million for that, he needs to catch and not drop the ball on the 3rd down and 7 plays. He is so soft it's a joke. I saw him get pushed out one yard yard short of the goal line by little D backs. He also blocks like a little beetch. Guaranteed he will not be back. This Vannett looks pretty good.

Jimmy is a great down the field TE no doubt. He is horrid anywhere near the line. If he's in there "blocking" if you can call it that, plan on the run being to the other side. The other teams do. Heaven forbid if you actually want to run 12 or 13 personnel with him in the game. It's a tip off and TE's that can't block and give up tip offs are worthless IMO. He ain't blocking chit and all of the other teams know this. Liability. Either make him a large permanent WR or send him packing. IMO.
