Founded in 1565 by the Spanish conquistador Pedro Menéndez de Avilés, St. Augustine is the oldest continuously occupied settlement of European origin in the contiguous United States. They have the first store, library, school and so on. 1565 is crazy old. Seattle was founded at Alki Beach in 1851. The space coast is one of my favorite places in FL.

Chicago (best food in the US)
New York (best & most women in the US)
Boston (best educated arseholes)
Philly (best uneducated arseholes)
New Orleans (best tits, 2nd best food)
Seattle (best scenery & outdoors)

Denver used to be awesome before the Californians and Texans ruined it.

Smaller cities like Fort Collins, Helena, Billings, Santa Fe, Durango, Sedona, Memphis, Nashville (not so small anymore), Austin, Asheville, Lincoln, Madison, Bend and many more are all great for there own reasons.

If I ever have to live anywhere else besides here, I'm going out to the middle of bumfvck Wyoming and calling it a life.

So are you. Actually crazy old is a Roman Coliseum that dates 2500 years old. You can feel the history. 2 years ago I stayed in an air b and b in S France that was connected to a Castle, year 1100. It was as quiet as it gets and a great place to truly get away from the hustle and bustle of life here in America. I liked it. May start a thread.

New Orleans and San Diego are pretty good. I also like Honolulu. It’s a bit underrated.

Ditto.

Minneapolis....nice you can walk around and not get hit up by a panhandler every five minutes and very little litter.

Miami....only a relatively short drive and you are in the Keys.

NYC....not everyone’s cup of tea but I’ve had a lot of fun there and lots of good grub.

Santa Fe....more good grub

New Orleans....bad for your health (liver) but again, great grub.

Not really a fan of any particular city, but have always had great steaks while in Texas.

Walla Walla and California wine country....good vino
