Runs aren’t much better on our side of the mountains and most water in flood stage but when they drop I’ll be doing just that with a double rig and weight on bottom! My go to after Kings are done in October.

My favorite part is when they grab the blank of the rod 22 inches above the reel seat "Whhhoooooyahhh that'll put some leverage on that there banana !!!" man . I'm so glad I could watch these guys and learn how to be a "real" angler,fkn nit wits.

I did love fishing the lower section of Cook Crick with Robbin Rhoades. No one EVER went down there....and he'd hack his way through the tundra to find the river. Had an epic day fishing a mile or so above the weir on the Salmon in the upper river. Again, no one around and packed full of steelhead that blew past the Honey Hole on a high water. Fun times with the tribe.

PS. I believe I'm the MAIN culprit of this trend in the years back...as I'd freely post reports, photos, videos....unless the person I was fishing asked that I not do so.
