He is not as good as people seem to think. He had a good year 2 years ago but didn't do much before, and hasn't done much since.

Boone had a very very weak first half last year...he came on strong in the second half and was solid for us down the homestretch!

He finished the year with over 100 ribbys...who is going to complain about that.

Plus his glove...as in his Gold Glove.

We may never see the Triple Crown chasing year we saw in '01 but I think we can expect conistenty from him...just as long as he doesnt try pull the ball all year long (like he did through the entire first half of last season).

I have no problem with a Gold Glove winning 25+ home run hitting, 100+ RBI second baseman, like to know who you would like to see replace him
