If ocean conditions and no rain hold those big Kings out there, what would be the chance that we could lobby for an extended season past Sept 14th to fill our quota? If we know we are not going to reach the quota, instead of the tribes and non-tribal commercial netteres getting the rest of the non-tribal recreational quota. When we don't fill it they ask for it and get it. Why don't we get to extend our season to finish our quota? They can ask for it and get it. Why can't we? They will just pick "our"fish up in the Columbia River later. help

Well no interest? It happened. This is the post from the Puget Sound Anglers State Board website: Pat Patillo spoke tonight at the Seattle Poggie Club. He mentioned he was on a conference call today and allocated 5,000 kings to the commercial troll fishery off the coast from the sport fishery, as the sport fishery was going to under harvest their allotment.

As usual the sports fishermen are on the sidelines and the commercials are on a conference call. No surprise that they get what they ask for. We don't even ask.
