It looks like the rain forest cam is down today. Wanted to see if the river was clearing up. Looked pretty brown on Friday. Hoping things might clear up on Sunday.

Try it now, I just rebooted the computer and it seems to be working again ... don't know what the problem was. Fishgal

Thanks Bob. Still looks brown. what Sure is a pretty day here on the west side of the Olympics. Looks like the mountains have some fresh snow.

I tried The Rainforest Cam on Homepage under the New Look and received the dreaded 404 error. Is this the correct place to see the camera or am doing something wrong? It's been a long time since I used the camera.Thx

Don, Use the link at the top center of this thread. Seems to be working fine. Water looks a little brown/green.

Steelheadman, Thanks, works for me now. Does the Sol Duc clear up first, so this camera would give you and indication of other river conditions, if this river is cleared, Hoh and others are a day or two later?

Looks like it was working fine after a reboot smile

I double-checked the link on the home page and it seems to be working fine as well ... not sure where the 404 came from, please let me know if it continues!!

I wouldn't count on the cam as an indicator for the other rivers. Slides / clay banks can puke both the Bogey and Hoh without as much as a slight color change in the 'Duc. Typically, Clawah first, then 'Duc, then Bogey, then Hoh as a general rule. But given the unruly narure of the last two these days ... you won't know until you see it at the ramp!

Bob,
The Cam is working fine now. I tried it from both the forum and home page, both worked this time.
