Is it worth waiting for the seattle show to get the 240 Blue? Anyone get a good price at the last show? Or am I better off getting it now? I know about the $25 rebate so I'll already save some $$. Also, I want to hook my Garmin GPS12 to it, AND be able to move it from the front to the back of the boat when I fish? Is all that possible???

Elkrun, we (BoatersWorld) had the 240 Blue for around $280 at the recent boat show's and the Puyallup sportsman show, last I heard we weren't doing the Seattle show, maybe brand W will be there with comparable prices.
As for interphasing your 12 with the 240 all you gain is getting your gps speed displayed on the ff screen, nothing more.

I recently checkd the pricing on the 240 blue at west marine and found that they sold the transducer seperate so check closely when you go to purchase.

I bought my 160 blue at the boat show from boatersworld. West marine was about $30 more at the show on the 160 blue and $40 more on the 240 blue with the same transducer. West did offer to match others prices but I figure why go through that mess when I can just go to the next booth and get what I want at the same price with no hassel.

The 240 blue is a great unit!

I've found West Marine to be expensive and use them as a last resort. I'd buy Boaters World or someone like these guys.

Elkrun, I found out today that we will have a booth at the Seattle Sportsman's Expo, if you're still looking for a 240 Blue that will probably be the last time this year we'll have it on sale (I would expect it to be around the same price as the recent boat show, $280)

If you get the chance, check out the new Eagle 320DF or the Eagle X88, very similar features/price as the Garmin.
