I have been a drop by angler for about two years and would like to thank everyone for sharing their knowledge. With the opening of shrimping season in 8-2 coming soon I've been looking for puss n boots and have been unsuccessful finding any. Does anyone know where to get any in the Snohomish County area? Thanks. help

Welllll, I know squat about shrimp but I did see 4 or 5 cases of it at the sporting goods store behind McDonalds at I-5 & Hwy 20(can't think of the name of the place off hand) It may be a bit of a drive but its worth stopping in there anyway beer

Teds in Lynnwood has a bunch of cases of it. $.99 a can or just a tad over 20.00 if you buy a case.

Skip the puss-n-boots (too expensive). Buy the flat tuna sized cans.....3 for a buck.....any fish flavor seems to work and maybe all the other flavors too. Pop the lid off the can to get maximim scent in the water and add a fresh can on every drop.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

I think I'll take the advise from the Queen and try a mixture which includes old reliable, Puss n Boots. GutZ, I can think of better ways to use those puss n boots. Thanks for all the responses.

I have heard that any cat food with fish and fish biproducts and the first ingredients are the best to get, hense Puss and boots. I have also been told to add a bit of anise oil and sesame seed oil. Has anybody else heard of this?

One more time....

Fritos corn chips in with your bait....

no joke. Try it in one pot and see. When you lower the pot watch the oil (scent trail) come off the chips. You'd think they'd disolve, but they last for days. Plus you can munch on the left overs. Try that with your cat food!

Listen to what the Queen said about freezing your bait before fishing. Very important trick.

Keeps your bait from milking out as it travels the 200-400 feet down.

I like the chips idea too.

I mixed olive oil in my bait one time seemed to work all right.
