Why not just ask the UPSer who delivers and fishes out there???? lol. There is limited parking, if you want to call it that. It's basically just the shoulder of the road that you pull off on. But, don't worry, very very VERY little traffic down there. Only residence and delivery guys. Just make sure you keep all your valuables OUT of the vehicles when you leave. But have been there many times, and have launched my boat there (have stayed with friends who live at end of Erickson just by the Launch and moored my boat at their house on the water).

So, hope that helps. If you have anymore questions on the KP, let me know. I know a few private ramps (you couldn't use, they barely let ME use them sheesh) and a few makeshift ones on the Heron Island side.

Led,

I fish out of there quite often.. I am usually the only one at the ramp in the winter. This time of year, expect company as folks are launching and running over to the "Can."

SH69 has it right- limited. I think I have seen 5 rigs/trailers at the ramp and it was a tight fit. Consider getting there early in July/Auguest. Another concern would be boat size. Depending on the tide anything over 21' might be a problem as the lower end of the ramp is fairly flat and at a tide of +3 and lower. As far as condition, it is primitive- little bumpy and worn.. rocky beach!

About a 15 minute run to the Can.

Hey Steelheader, been by my house lately? Wondering how much Ebay junk is showing at the house?

Led,

I really don't think you'll have to be down to the ramp at 4am.. but expect some company.

Actually, been injured. Haven't delivered since last August. Not sure if they have to do surgery on my back. But have been going through steroid injections into my back. But, after I come back, will no longer be out in your guys neck of the woods. I won the bid on a permanent route in downtown GH. Sucks, but at least I have my OWN route that I can do each day. Hated covering a different route almost everyday. Plus, with 15 years seniority, I still have guys with more seniority over me. So, I had to deal with guys above me bumping me off the premiere routes (the two routes on KPN/S and Olalla/N. GH). But, guarantees me to go with the building if they make a new UPS center out in GH when the second bridge comes in. Then I'll be your guys' neighbor. laugh
