all it is is simple dacron line. I use high viz fly line backing, a small spool will last years.

Any fly tying shop Buck. Buy a bobin, too. The really fine nylon will require more wraps and the bobin makes it easy.

A fly shop was my next stop, I just haven't made it to one yet. I actually have a spool of fly backing I will take a look at and see if it will work.

I'll second the dacron backing. Best way to store bobberstops for quick and easy application on the water:

Take a 5-6 inch hollow coffee stirrer from any fast food joint.

Nail knot or uni-knot a 6-7 turn coil around the stirrer, leaving 1/2 inch ends.

Stack a dozen or more knots end to end on one stirrer.... that's enough for a whole season or longer.

Pop it in your vest next to your Sharpie marking pen.

To use, simply slide your mainline thru the stirrer. Slip a bobberstop off the end closest to the rod tip and slide stirrer off the mainline. Tighten the nailknot down onto the mainline and trim the ends. VOILA.
