I was thinking about going up and fishing some halibut in the sound, but I am not fimilar with the seasons of where to go. Can someone point me in the right direction and time of year.

I have not fished it, but Mutiny Bay on Whidbey Island has Halibut in it and has produced a few this year. A good friend of mine landed a 40 pounder about a month ago there. I think they fish the mouth of the bay.

Good Luck! You'll have to check the closing date for Puget Sound because I just gave my rule book to my neighbor.
