I need some help and advice. Looking to buy a one person pontoon boat. I will use it mainly for river use. Just wondering what some of you have out there and how you like it. I am having a touch time deciding. Just when I think I have found the one I want, I hear some bad news about it.

Thanks.

Go to: "3D Sale items" > "inflatable boats" .

BRAND NEW Outcast Pac 800s for 599.00 !!!

I got mine last week NEW in box. You CANNOT find a better deal than these ANYWHERE!

They said they are just blowing out their inventory. These normally sell for 1049.00 anywhere else.

Here is a link of the Outcast Pacs:http://outcastboats.com/outcastboats/pacseries.shtml

Anything else better than these you would be spending 1200.00+, seriously.

Good luck!

check out the classifieds page on the BB there are a few good 'toons for sale. I have the more expensive 10ft steelheader cataraft and love it.

I have 2 Steelheaders and they are great boats. I would highly recommend them. I saw someone had one for sale on one of the boards. You might want to check it out.

The pac-800 looks like a pretty good deal. The westfork and featherweight are both set up nicely for the price (I'd take either over the steelheader).

I use a little water skeeter more often than my steelheader, and it cost less than a quater the price. My point? Don't spend a lot of money unless you really plan on tackling difficult water. In my opinion, the ease of pulling out is key and the fact that I can put in and pull out anywhere I want. The big cats are heavy and difficult to pull out assembled if you have to pack up a steep hill or something. The little skeeter I can just throw over my shoulder, with all of my gear and pack out in one trip. However, use common sense when purchasing, depending on the rivers you plan to fish!

Catarafts: My fishing friend & I have constructed 2 of these crafts for individual parts. If you are not concerned about weight, we have found the 12' tubes 22" dia. are the best. We had our frame custom made. Pretty similiar are the Steelheaders on display right now at the Sportman's Show in Monroe. We did a lot of trial & error to get the right anchor system, floors, & etc. DON'T SKIMP ON THE OARS.!!!!~~~!!!~~!!
P.S. We have run ALL of the tough rivers such as the Sol Duc. We took the pictures of the drift boat sunk on the Hoh Friday! Raft-Cat

Great job! You won't regret it!
