So I heard from a friend that the OP has some spots for fishing springers. Very interesting to me and I would like to hit some streams with the springers as anopportunity to hook on to. So I am wondering where some good put ins and some nice walk in for spots on the clearwater and the quinalt. I realize the opening date is soon and would like to take some recon missions to figure some stuff out.

I can remember fishing the Duc a couple years back during the "peak" of the run and marking a few fish and landing one nice springer. However, don't expect any huge numbers. Your odds are better on SW WA tribs..... But I will admit, the scenery in Forks is just A LITTLE better.......

If you want springers on the OP go to the duc for you best bet. I'ed never herd of quinalt springers nor clearwater, there is one other river out there that does have um but go out and put in some time and you'll figure it out soon enough

The Hoh has a spring/summer run of Chinook. The Queets run is wild and depressed.
