Area 8-2

Rules state Daily Limit 2 combined plus 2 additional pinks

So does that mean one can keep 2 pinks plus 2 silvers if lucky enough to hook?

If just retaining pinks, does that mean you can keep 2 per person or 4?

You're correct. You can keep no more than 2 coho, but then continue fishing for 2 more Pinks.
or
Just keep 4 pinks

I don't eat fish but the people I give the smoked Salmon to say they like it. Who knows...

I am Steelhead deprived this summer as I am actually excited for the Humps.

Wife is 7 months pregnant and my fishing has been diminished because the nursery is now my main priority. It is our fist kid, a boy, so she is having me go all out on the painting of stripes and all other sorts of nursery related stuff. It’s all good though \:\)

Thanks for the help on the rules.

Any salmon that gets bonked on my boat gets bled, gutted, and packed in ice before gear even goes back in the water. Treated that way, pinks are as good as coho when cooked or smoked that day. They won't hold for a week in the fridge, so use 'em up right away.

Two decades ago I worked on a seiner and the pinks that sloshed around our hold for a hot summer day weren't fit for cat food (but got canned for people anyway).

Anyway, I'll take all the pinks I can get! \:D

If you are lucky, your kid will actually sleep for a while in the nursery you will spend so much time on! My wife is 5 months prego with our second (a girl this time). Fun stuff that really cuts into the fishing time. She tried to get me to repaint the kiddy room, but I learned from the first. The kids don't sleep. And even if they did, they don't care what color the walls are!

Neal-
You got it. I did the whole nursery thing Last Winter (04). "We're going to paint clouds on the ceiling!! Isn't it exciting? Oh and also, then we'll put a piece of a trim board at 5-1/2 feet with little door knobs to hang stuff from like bibs and paint animals on the wall and blah blah blah...."
The kid is only in there while he is getting changed or taking a little nap!
The first few months can be trying but after about three-four months it's better. You start to feel like you have the makins of a real person in the house, rather than a needy little bugga!

Don't even get me started! ;\)

At 8 month pregnant, the wife freaked which resulted in us buying a new house! Apparently the house we were living in no longer was going to cut the Mustard! Moved in by late November, only to have child #2 in late December!

I re-did the nursery...the girls room....the master bedroom...kitchen..bathrooms....living room...etc, etc.! ;\)
