Fished Possession (sp?) bar today from about 7:30 until 11. 3 Takedowns and three bonked fish, two BM's and one nice chrome hen chum. All fish taken on green/white coyote spoons with that little dangler blade thing. All fish right on bottom at depths of 70, 105 & 125' deep.

Pretty lumpy on the way out but it sure laid down for the tide change. Lots of gillnets out in the channel between Whidbey and Mukilteo too.

thanks for the report. i hope to get out soon. were you markin alot of fish and bait?

We marked a ton of fish. We assumed they were chums but had a hard time getting them to bite. Finally we dropped our gear back to the bottom and focused on BM's and hit that one chum. Go figure.

Lots of fish suspended in the water column from about 40-80 feet deep but real lockjawed.

Good news Kramer. I was chomping to be out there yesterday but work prevailed. 3 takedowns and 3 fish in the box is pretty good for Possession. I take it the seals weren't after you too bad? Many boats out besides you?

There were very few seals out on the bar yesterday but I think that had a lot to do with how many fish are out there. Seriously, yesterday it was easy staying on the fish because they were everywhere. Just not a lot of biters.

Only one other boat out there all morning and they showed up just in time to watch us netting our second fish. It was pretty lumpy early on. I'm sure thet kept the smart folks off the water.

Thanks Kramer. I'm sure the pesky devils will show up when more boats arrive. Unless of course they were scared off by the killer whales in the Canal. Hope hope.
