Saw this boat, EMPTY, floating down the Skagit about 12:15 today...



Called the Sheriff immediately and reported it. The hull looks to be plywood, and there are oar locks but no oars, and no motor.

My guess is it got away from someone at the Baker ramp...hope so.

Didn't see any debris or bodies/people floating along behind it.

That looks like the ply boat I saw for sale for $100 on saw horses up at the old rock house this past summer,left hand side of the highway heading up river about a mile below the Sutter/Swift launch. (new paint job?)

Viking Funeral, but they forgot to light the fire?? See anything laying at the bottom of the boat?

Good sign that the boat is upright and not upside down.
