Two Different Series of Rods, I have Both:) the Gl3 is a faster action Blank, Very quick tip action, Medium stiffness in the base, I have used this as a Float rod in Big water and as a spoon rod. The Canadian Series is a Heavier Blank, Mid 90's Vintage, Rated for 1- 5 oz, Makes for a wonderful Chinook rod in the Fraser. The Gl3 is still current.
