I don't have a spinning rod but I have a casting 1025GL3 in great shape because it was just replaced after breaking it. I took it back to GLoomis and they gave me a new rod but I wish I would have upgraded to an IMX. Will sell for $210. Reply if interested.

TH is the guy I E-mailed to you about yesterday, he makes a really nice rod, exactly like from the factory, only less expensive.

Rainy city, actually I don't make the rods the rod I was going to sale is a grade 1 blank right out of the factory just like you'd get in the store. Your thinking of Vern Dollar located about 2 miles from where I live. He makes D&E rods out of grade 2 blanks, after all is done they are as nice as the original Loomis rods.

Try THs rods there great im in the process of buying my 3rd rod from him, his service is great. the fit an finish is great too. I really like the rods I have now. try him out you will be impressed.

Thanks all. (TH, Rainycity,Stlhdr1 and fishnbear.) However I came up with a GREAT deal yesterday that I couldn't pass up on. A new factory GL3 STR1025S with rod tube. Down the road I will be have one built. A little confused. is it TH that uses the #1 factory blanks? or Stlhdr1. Will be in touch and have bookmarked where I can get ahold of you guys in the future. We only use #1 grade blanks.. GLoomis, Lamiglas, Sage. NO SECONDS here
