I just bought a boat, but need to replace the trailer because it is the "wide" version and it won't fit in my garage:
1994 Calkins galvanized roller spindle-lube axle (don't need Bearing Buddies) surge brakes 3000# load capacity, 3750# GVWR new tongue jack and safety chains 8' 6" wide takes up to a 19' boat -- mine is 18', and the winch post can move forward another 18" or so rollers can be rearranged so they lay flat, for sleds
Asking price is $1,000
The trailer is in Woodinville. Give me a call at (425) 706-4033 days or (425) 788-8294 evenings.
Thanks, and regards.

You've lowered it twice but didn't let us know what it is now. We are looking for a trailer for a 17' glassply. What kind of shape is it in? We don't have a lot to spend but for the right price we would be interested. Thanks.

Sorry, I was editing the price in the original ad instead of following on with new prices. $1,000 is the current asking price. I started at $1,200. This is a lousy time of year to sell a trailer, so if I don't get anything at $1,000, I'm going to cover it up and relist it in the spring, when everybody pulls their boats out of storage, and a few find out they need a new trailer Regards.

Oops, forgot to answer your question:
The trailer is in good/excellent condition. I replaced the tongue jack and safety chains. The rollers are all fine, and a few of them are new. The tires and wheels are good, and the surge brakes seem to work fine. A few of the fasteners and a couple of the brackets that hold the rollers have some rust. The trailer frame and axle are nearly rust-free.
The previous owner only used the trailer for winter storage, as he had his boat moored over the summer. It probably saw 20 miles over the past 3 years. Before that, I don't know.
Regards.
