I am looking around for a new camera since i have finally come to the conclusion that i did actually lose my camera... Not looking for anything specific. Let me know if you guys have anything laying around you wont mind letting go.

I have a Nikon 5000, sitting here. It is an older P&S 5 megapixel camera that produces excellent images. Images are 14 meg files.

It cost $1000 plus tax when I bought it several years ago.

Now it is worth about $35.

I have the camera, battery charger, battery and some compact flash cards to go with it and most likely the manual.

This is not to be confused with the Nikon D5000 which is a dSLR.

Have a family member who got his PHD in photography suggest a few site when I asked about looking for camaras...first DPreview good unbiased reviews on camaras of all kinds. Second there is a site b&h photo that has great deals and customer service on camaras just bought the wife one for her birthday and i bought a deluxe package which inculded 2 year coverage if it breaks or about anything else (except natural disasters) they will fix or replace it cost around $25 for a camara $200-250 not sure what your budget is but I'm sure they have decent camaras for around $100, they also offer free shipping.
