I have a Shimano Bantam Magnumlite 201 SG Plus that I love. It has direct drive and it the perfect reel for float fishing, I must have one for drift fishing and fishing spoons now. So if anyone has a Magnumlite 201 SG Plus that they would like to get rid of let me know and Ill make you an offer. Must be 201 (lefthanded), have a direct drive (obviously), and be in good condition.

Ta, you and every other steelheader. There is a classic 201 for sale on E-bay but expect to spend 150 at least. Some times the reserve is at least 150. They go quick

Its actually the graphite frame I am looking for. Its too much of a pain in the ass and alot of money to get ahold of the metal ones.

There is one guy selling Shimano Bantams on EBAY using the name fish4wildcoho, who has been buying them up at higher then normal prices and now is trying to sell them again. Hold out and you can probably find one for about $120 - $150.

HI: is the reel a 201 or a 2201sg. I have one with the box and instructions. It is left hand retrieve with the free spool.

The box says "Bantam magnumlite BGX2201SG"

It is in good shape with minor boat rash. I bought it new and have not used it all that much.
