Anybody putting any time in at any local lakes for trout. Looks like some of the south-end-of-the-state
lakes are being visited by the stocking truck. To far to drive for me.

I've caught a few trout out of Battle Ground Lake trolling buggers. Fishing should pick up once the lake turns over.

It's not a local lake but my friend caught a 7lb rainbow out of Fio Rito lake it's between Yakima and Ellensburg on I-82.

If it's in Washington it's local.

Lone was fishing pretty good last weekend. Bloodworms under 12-13 inches of leader worked for me. Other C-mid fishermen were hooking up a bunch, but I didn't see other approaches produce much. Could of had my head turned at the wrong time though. FYI- water was around 41 degrees.

Sorry, my last post should read "12-13 feet of leader." I tried a real shallow approach in the AM when a few fish were rolling, but no takers.

Any of you guys fish Deer Lake (Whidbey Island) when it is open?
