what size flatfish do you like to use in lake washington? I know frog colored is a good pattern.

I like to use the F3 or F4 (I think those are the correct sizes).

I agree w/ Mr. Carl, F-3 and F-4 are perfect. If you don't buy "flatfish" brand lures, ie Kwikfish, Lazy Ike etc. about 1"-1 1/2" is about the right size. In addition to the good old froggy, orange w/ black dots has always done well by me. Remember to troll real slow with the flatfish style lures to keep the action right.

Another trout-getting color is solid black with sparkles. This one works really good on bright sunny days. cool

If you have a frog flatfish then another MUST is green/yellow #70(1") Hotshot. I actually think the Hotshots work better cause they dont freak out at higher speeds. Also the hard to find perch colored flatfish,(red lip,white/black back, yellow belly) is also a must have. IF your lucky, you may find the model with the twin mini trebles. It also runs better at higher speeds than the standard Flatfish.
