Well folks, I'm back to pester ya with more questions. Been reading up on Silver lake in cowlitz and had a few questions.

Can a person camp overnight but NOT at a campsite or resort. I just wanna drive up about 7pm and fish til about 11 am the following morn.

Is it Bullhead cats only there? No channels or blues?

How the heck do i get there from Yakima(Do I take the RIGHT at the fork on HWY 12?)

I've narrowed my choices for fishing down to 4

1. Silver lake
2. Lost Lake
3. Snake River
4. Some little lake in Ellensburg(I forgot the name of)

Any facts and all opinions are welcome concerning these places.

I live about 5 minutes from Silver lake and it only only has bullhead catfish but there are lots of bass, crappie, etc. Their isn't really any place to camp other than the resorts or the state park. There are a couple of other lakes within an hour of Silver lake that have other catfish stocked though.
