Does this lake freeze over? I was going to take my boat there but my buddy said it would be a waist of time but i hear its good cold weather fishing there. Would it be safe to invest the time and money?

I have seen fishing great just from the access. Good for bows/browns. I don't know if it is frozen, but I would imagine...
