I am new to fishing in Washington. I would like to know some common bait colors used for smallmouth in Lake Washington and Lake Sammamish. Worms, tubes, cranks etc.... Thanks for any info.

I fish Lake Washington alot for small and largemouth bass I have always had the most success fishing tubes and crankbaits in crawdad patterns, because the lake is loaded with crawdads.My second favorite pattern is perch, because once again the lake is loaded with em'. I love Lake Washington, there's more structure and docks than you could fish in 100yrs. Good Luck!

crawdad and perch are great colors for cranks and spinners...when i use jigs i go with black or a black combo
