Anybody know what I could expect of Mineral Lake on a weekend , in regards to crowds and skiers? And would it be better to do a little fishing during the week. Any campgrounds other than the resort deal?

I doubt pressure is heavy this far into the season. Actually, I would bet fishing would be pretty poor with this heat. Maybe Alder would be a better bet and they have campgrounds too.

The last time I was at Mineral, last year, you could have gas engines. Mineral is not really a PWC lake, to many fishing boats.

When I was there a couple weeks ago on a friday there wasn't very much fishing pressure. But in the afternoon there was one water skier and another boat towing a bunch of kids on an intertube. I would imagine with the heat there will be more water skiers and less people fishing. I usually try to avoid weekends at mineral.

We don't have a motor restriction on Mineral. Not sure if the county does although I doubt they do either. It's considered a navigable water.
